$30. I am waiting for the confirmation from him before I run over. I don't ever plan on swiveling a vise, so it's not a big deal for me personally. Was this repainted?

that is a great price for that particular vise, or any for that matter. I've seen a number of those vises for sale and in person, none of which were blue. The most common color is red but the newer ones have a grey speckled finish. My old man bought one for the same price and it was still in the box, brand new!

You could clean that thing up and easily make 100.00+ off the deal, then hunt for a new vise to clean and sell.
