Athol Machine Co. no. 0 vise

I have recently purchased an old Athol Machine Co. No. 0 vise. It is a neat little vise but it is missing the main nut. I am thinking it may have utilized a "half nut" design by the vertical clearance on the slide. I would like to speak with anyone who would happen to have one of these vises and maybe find one of these items or maybe get a pattern idea to make one. Considering the age of this vise, I am sure I am searching for the perverbial needle in the haystack.
