Hello All. I have an Atlas 1020 15" bench top drill press and wood like to attach a morticing attachment. I need to remove the depth scale from the press. It looks like I'll need to remove the Chuck. Can anyone tell me how?
Can you get a pic of the chuck/spindle? I rebuilt one a few years back but can not remember what style it was. IIRC, you'll need a Jacobs wedge for that one but I would like to see to be sure. Maybe someone else will post that knows for sure.
