Pass it up you should not buy anything less then 19 inches deep for the drawers, that will make your box anywhere from 20 to 22 inches deep. Drawers with less space just do not have good capacity for storage. I am fixing to replace my 24 year old Snap On top and bottom box for new one I will be going from a 22 inch deep box to a 24 inch deep box but I will pick up 3 inches of additional depth for each drawer.

The box you are looking at is only 15 1/2 inches deep for the drawers. Believe it or not that is a huge reduction in storage.

I don't have any information about that Atlas box, but it looks very similar to the Harbor Freight box with the deep drawers from the tox box swapped with the shallow drawers on the bottom. The Harbor Freight combo will be a couple hundred cheaper with a 20% coupon.

For home use the 16" deep drawers are fine. For pro use I suspect you will really, really appreciate the bigger drawers on the pro brand boxes.

Trust me home use or not look for something deeper, you will be glad you did. I have a box that has only 15 inch deep drawers for the top and 16 inch deep for the bottom, the box is very cramped and it is a home box.

My other box a Snap On box has 19 inch deep draws and you would be amazed at how much more storage room you get from that little bit of extra space.

You can find a box in your price range that is not a Snap On, MAC or Matco that will give you the storage space. It may not be as good a quality but it will work fine for your home use.

Better to buy big enough the first time or you will be looking again and end up spending twice as much because you thought you were saving money the first go around.

Its too much like the Craftsman combo I just got rid of. Its nice right when you buy it but you quickly get annoyed with the layout/ cramptness. I would recommend looking for a used truck brand or similar equivelent. It's not worth buying all these "expansion" boxses on the sides. You'll end up spending ALOT more... GL
