Just got done helping my son with his Atlas drill press. The only thing if he wants is to put a nicer table on it. Somebody put a few holes in the table. The spindle cover was the last thing to put on. Made 1 at work out of aluminum. Also had to recut the jacobs 33 taper. The chuck was running out .007-.010. Changed the bearings on the spindle and was still running out so turned a new 33 taper on the spindle and is running great now. He did most of the restoration work i just made the spindle cover and cut the taper.
