Atlas 7b shaper help

Hi I was looking to see if anyone has this shaper and would be willing to give me a couple measurements. I recently purchased a shaper but it is missing the ratcheting mechanism. And I was looking for someone to give me the Od on the S7-81 gear . I would be looking for all three Dimensions. Od where is the Ratcheting mechanism rides, Od of where the gears mesh and the thickness. I know the gear has 40 Teeth and if I get to OD I can figure out to Diametral pitch to cut a new one. Are you talking about the gear inside the casing? see arrow.

Had to dig up the parts list to see what gear you were talking about.

Yes that’s the gear.

Finally got out to see the shaper with out the puppy.

It might take some time to take it apart, doubt if it has been apart ever.

The pics show more than I could see in the corner where it is at.

This should get you close. The part is two "gears" pinned together. I didn't have any change gears handy to check DP but if you have the table gear you should be able to match it. Ed.
