Atlas Bandsaw back from the dead!

Was gifted this guy. Built a stand and installed new tires and motor. Few more tweaking and maybe some paint.

All together and operational. Have a foot feed control paired with a 1hp electric motor.

They are nice little saws for home use. I restored one a number of years ago.

You'll really enjoy that little guy. The Atlas is probably the best 12" BS ever made. I had one for years and really liked using it.

Thanks yeah I am very impressed with it. Tried a tight cut out to see its ability. That is a beautiful restoration above. I probably won’t go that far but will paint the stand.
