Has anyone relocated the hoses and cables to run above the unit like mohawk lifts? How tall is the floorplate/baseplate?

Floor plate is only about 2”. I am sure the spec is available. I had no problems with my lowered cars. Did not look into trying to make the cables go the other way. Floor plate is fine. Sure, if rolling an engine out of the way, you might go around the lift rather than over the plate.

The plate is kind of a PITA when using a transmission jack but I get used to it. You could always build up the surrounding area with wood to become level with the top of the plate.
