Atlas Copco Air Compressor

Anyone have any experience or information about Atlas Copco air compressors? Something in the 5hp, 80 gal. range for around $2500.00.

Dont know much about them other than they are an industrial brand that is well respected, make sure it's single phase.

I have one. Five HP 3 phase 80 gallon tank. Bought it new in the mid 1970’s. Still going strong.

That is the first 2 stage compressor I've seen with a direct drive motor.
25 years ago I had a 10 hp Atlas Copco compressor I bought from
Rockwell International that was mounted on wheels. Like a dumb*ss I sold it when I moved.

I like your paint shaker sitting on a foam pad. I'm going to try that.

I like your paint shaker sitting on a foam pad. I'm going to try that.

The shaker is bolted to an 80# cast iron tractor wheel weight, which made it walk around on the shop floor. The foam pad helped.

Atlas Copco makes excellent products. Just be sure that there is local support for when you need service (warranty) or parts.
