Man, I really love these old Atlas drill presses. This is my second one. First was a Model 53 that I restored a couple years ago. Lately, I've been working on restoring this Model 64. Still have to finish up the motor, but everything has been degreased, paint stripped, bearings replaced, and all cleaned up. I usually keep restorations pretty original looking, but I opted for a completely different paint color on this one. Pretty happy with how it turned out. This one will have a good home in my shop right next to the 53, which I did keep all original.

Thanks! That's Green Hammertone powder coat by Columbia Coatings. I took a bit of a shortcut and had the main castings powder coated by a shop. I'm doing the motor myself and should have that done in a couple days. Almost there.

This surprised me too. It was owned by a cabinet maker who used it right up until he passed away. He took pretty good care of his tools.
