Working on a project during quarantine, I pulled out my old table saw. I'd never really paid much attention to it before, but since joining GJ I've paid a bit more attention to the tools I have.

Anyway, the saw was my grandfather's and is an Atlas S10ES (1947 or so vintage), made right in my hometown of Kalamazoo, MI. It came into my possession when my father passed away. It doesn't have the expansion wings, blade guard, miter bar, or fence. It seems to be in perfect working order with the exception of the missing pieces. The blade raises and lowers and tilts smoothly.

My father made a simple fence that can be clamped to the table, but it's a pain to set up and make sure it's parallel to the blade.

After finishing my project, I got curious about the saw and looked them up online and managed to find a scanned manual that I downloaded.

A couple of questions for everyone out there:

1) Is there any place that might sell used parts for these saws?

2) Are parts interchangeable between various Atlas saw models? Specifically the expansion wings and fences. I found some on e-bay that are for an Atlas 9310 and wondered if they might work on my S10ES. They sure look a lot like what I see in the manual.

3) If I can't find the parts to properly kit it out so it is completely vintage, can someone recommend some aftermarket pieces (mostly miter bar and fence, I can fab up a table extension if I have to) that would work with this saw? I've looked online and found many, but I'm unsure of which ones would work and which ones are good quality.

In case it might be helpful, I measured the tabletop and it is 20" x 27".

Any insight appreciated!

Chris
