It says something about that floor being a "shade of brown". As I see them on my monitor, it looks mostly gray with some brown-ish marbling (or vice-versa). I do not want brown floors, but I think I want the same effect- "natural" concrete look but with a protective barrier over it to keep spills from soaking into the concrete and staining. I like what I see in the pics, and I think my choice of wall color (light gray) coupled with bright lighting, would detract from any "brownness".

If I gathered correctly from that article, all I need to do is acid etch the concrete, then roll on the product? My shop is 30'x40', and the concrete was poured at the end of March. There has been no use of the floor or shop just yet, so no contaminants on/in the concrete other than dirt. My budget for the shop is BLOWN, so I'm trying to get the last few necessities paycheck by paycheck before I even bring in the first bit of shelving. Exactly what product(s) do I need to accomplish this and what kinda cost am I looking at? Is there a cheaper, but equally effective option?
