I've been on here a couple times and now that we are looking at a house without a garage. :(

I am looking for a good design for a 2car garage w/ Master BR Suite above that will be attached to house. I've looked online and found a TON with bonus rooms above, but not much success with finding many with the Master Suite.

Does anyone have a "secret" site that has some or have done one?

Garage must be 26' deep and atleast 30' wide, Bath probably will be in the connector to the house. Entry will be from an Existing stairwell / wall in the house.

Any direction / advise would be helpfull.

Thanks in advance,
Keith

I know I've seen someone on here before with a nice MBR above their garage...just can't remember who it was.

Thanks guys, I have been on archwaypress and saw some of their designs, however I was looking for a bedroom layout not the apartment. My wife is not very good at picturing things other than how she is shown. So I will probably have to find the garage I like and layout the upstairs myself so she can see how it would work.

I can't believe that it was actually her idea to add the garage with master over to this house if we end up getting it. I will have to reward her well, master bath will be built to her every wish.

I am so looking forward to being in a house that I can do what I want to it not what it needs to resell. The next one is going to be a keeper.

Great looking shop Trent, I will probably keep it a simple triangular truss / attic area. If we get the house I mentioned it is a traditional farm house with 12 12 pitch roofs.

However I am planning a detached garage much like yours that will house my office upstairs and my "toys" that I plan to aquire someday. I've posted my plan on here in the past, 2 car Gambrel with Office upstairs.
