Larger Sterlite clear tubs (USA made) are only $10 each new. They also have larger and smaller sizes that all stack well due to the deep lid recess.

Edit: apparently the site breaks the link. Search "sterilite 76 qt stacker taupe" and it should return the clear tubs with taupe lids. They have other sizes that are smaller and larger than 76 quarts.

The above two links are the Snap On vs. Craftsman of totes.

The first totes are the ones autocrats stores and supermarkets use to move their goods from distribution to retail, day in day out. The second are the ones homeowners use to store winter coats in attics.

Having been through the cheap tote game before, like many things in this world, you get what you pay for.

I agree with this 100%. I just finished my second or third move on the same Akro Mils flip top totes. Many of them were loaded way over capacity with tools and hardware, a few of them were over 100#, not a single one broke or took significant damage. All of the clear plastic totes I’ve tried in the past get brittle and crack.
