Starting to get all the supplies so we are ready when the plumber gets done with the drains. My question is, I was at Menards today and bought 100 (all they had) Nibco 1/2" foam clips that screw into the foam. The problem is I have been looking online to find more and can't seem to find any. All I can find is the staples that you have to buy the gun for, which is very expensive. Any ideas on where to look for the screw in type foam clips? Thanks.....Mark

I rented the stapler (from Blueridge) and bought staples that are plastic from them. This system worked great and you use the stapler from a standing position. The staples hold well and are made for the task. Then you ship the stapler back and get your deposit back. I'd do it again this way.

I used the same setup from BlueRidge. It works well. I ordered it with the intention to return it but the job was delayed and it was easier just to keep it. I am amazed at how well the staples hold.

I will be selling it since I am done. My floor was poured last week.

I still have a stapler and approx. 300 staples from BlueRidge for sale.
If anyone is interested PM me and we'll work something out.

Thanks for the replies, but like someone mentioned, can you use the metal U-shaped landscape staples? Thanks....Mark
