attaching thumbnails from gallery

This is likely a dumb question but...

How does one get thumbnails to appear in their post? The way drivesitfar does here: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=381433

or the way chasede does here: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=338298

Either way.

I created an album but that didn't help.

I can get the attached images but not the thumbnails. Personally, I prefer thumbnails vs forcing a full size image or no thumbnail and having to open the attachment.

Have you tried insert image?
Copy image address.
Click on insert image.
Remove the HTTP from insert image.
Cut and paste to insert image.

Then post.

Both photos I added to the topic using insert image pasting the link to them.
In some cases remove HTTPS and then cut and paste the full link.

Oh and do not worry it took me a long time to work out how to do that.

I should add click on the photo and then copy image address as that is the link you need to post to insert image.

George I find it quick and easy to just pull those thumbnails straight from your own computer file storage to insert in posts

This one works... yea... and yes... there are so many ways to do things with images. Adding the link is a perfect way to do it.
