Ok now that the cold season is here I want to insulate the garage. I have the 2x4 walls insulated with r13. Heres where I have a problem.I have attic trusses and I want to have the garage work space heated but the upstairs man room I want to heat only when I will be up there. I want to heat the upstairs with electric baseboard. The main garage I have a Dayton 60k LPG unit heater.
So...... How should I insulate the ceiling and attic roof? Where do I put the vapor barrier? I have a ridge vent and soffit vents so I understand I need to run that styrofoam proper vent from soffit to ridge.
