Attic vs. storage Truss

Hi,
Whats the difference in a attic truss and storage truss when it comes to storage room, weight carrying ability and cost? I'm considering a 34' wide building with either 6/12 or 8/12 pitch.

The terms are interchanged frequently. I believe the difference would weight carrying capacity. Storage would be probably 20 psf and attic would be 40 psf. 34' is a long span - is this without support? Hi-as stated above people incorrectly interchange the terms. I don't care for trusses but they work well. You might want to look at stick framing if you want to use the upstairs for more than storage. Its more money now but lots more options later. I just finished a 28' deep detached garage/shop w/a 9/12 pitch and the upstairs is awesome (my wife has claimed it as her loft for stained glass etc.) Truss joists or lvls are options if you don't want a beam down the center of your shop; with steel prices where the are you might find bar joists at a reasonable price.
