Back in my computer collecting days I used to visit that place a couple times a week. If its the one I am thinking of its the main collection and distribution as well as the Goodwill Industries (about 50 mentally handicapped workers, making gift baskets etc.). Three days a week they run a live auction on roll around cages full of misc, as well as some larger items.
Not sure if it applies, but I seem to recall there is no sales tax on at least some purchases from Goodwill, so bid plus pickup fee is sitting at $182 with 11 hours to go. My guess is that it will come pretty close to a "fair" market price.

Yeah, I can't believe someone paid that much for that junk.
I agree but at least the money isn't going to HF.
Target used to have some arrangement with GoodWill and dumped a huge amount of demo, and return products into Goodwill stores, but money flowed back to Target.
