I've seen a few posts about this and read a few articles about this, but I'm still a little confused about how to execute it.
I have an ATV (600 lb) and a Zero Turn Mower (1500 lb) that I would like to store up on pallet racking for the winter. The shelf would be approximately 7 ft up in the air (enough to park a scissor lift underneath).
Pallet racking is secured to the building and the floor is 6 in reinforced concrete. Pallet racking is industrial-duty Interlake racking (same stuff you see in BJs stores).
So...what is the best way to get these items up on the racking and am I crazy to even be thinking of doing this? I have a forklift on the tractor but unfortunately it only lifts 1000 lb.
