Had some good luck this month with some local auctions.
Picked up a 20" Rockwell drill press. Was not sure if it worked or not but $65 I could not go wrong. I also lucked out and it turned out to be single phase 1.5 hp.
The 8' of wire that came with it had its pigtails still so all I had to do was install a new plug. Has some minor surface rust but it works great.

I also picked up a nice Sargent and Greenleaf safe with a smaller one as extra for about $125. The safe had the dial removed but for $160 I picked up a new dial and it works great. I had no idea how much this safe weighed and the paper work said approx 600 lbs. come to find out it has a tag at the bottom that says 1400 lbs. With no way of lifting it, it took some work to get it off loaded and then upright. It is about 5' tall, 20" wide, and 32" deep. All 1/2" walls, top, bottom, and door. You will loose a finger if smashed.

I thought there was a thread for auction finds, but I did not find one. Maybe this could be the start of one.

I too went to an auction yesterday. I have never posted a picture, but maybe the kids can help me do it.

SO Vantage graphing DVOM $35 in the case. Did not turn on, came home to find no batteries in it. Installed batteries, and lights right up.

SO graphing Brick scanner. $40 in the case. Did not hook it up yet, still sitting on the floor of the shop.

SO TPMS reset tool. $70 in the box. Just looked at a used one this week on the truck. Dealer wanted $250, and it would not turn on. When he pulled the battery cover off found one large gob of corrosion. The auction one lights right up.

Set of brake pressure gauges. $12.50 The type that you take the bleeders out and replace with adapters to hook up the gauges. Several years ago I bought some that were like a hockey puck that that you could squeeze in the caliper and one gauge was broke. The gauge was like $60 to buy. Now I have another set that I could interchange the gauges if I need to.

10 Ton Port a power hydraulic unit. $12 I have two complete sets of the components that I paid $15 for at an auction a few years ago. Now I have a power unit to use them.

Neutronics Refrigerant Identifier $30 Not sure if it works, but a good buy if it does. The highs this week are single digits, so it will be a while before that gets checked out.

A box for $30 that included 5-6 oil sending unit type SO sockets. Also had SO tire core remover, a few SO screwdrivers, some SO picks, and some other misc.

A box for $20 that included a mac hose clamp tool. The cable pliers type, a set of OTC in the box AC line removal tools, 3-4 Nicholson files. A very nice DOHC gear holder that is shaped like an H, that you adjust a set of pins out into the gears. Other misc stuff included some nice aluminum disconnect tools, a few more mini picks, a new 25 pack of Irwin #2 bits.

It was a local tires shop liquidation that had a couple of locations. My neighbor that went with me bought several boxes, some sets of name brand spline drive impact sockets. He got them way cheap. We saw no spline drive impacts there for sale. Do they have a spline adapter to use these. I know he will not be buying a spline impact, so these may be for sale real soon.

Im not sure of the brand name of safe. The combo is made by Sargent Greenleaf AS stated above. S@G combos are on millons of safes, they dont make safes The safe is burglar resistant. Not much fire protecting. Paper will chare @ about 350 degrees. Nice score.
