I brought home a creeper, an oil can and some belt measuring sticks this week.
I took the wheels off of the creeper, chipped out all of the crusted grease and dirt from the wheels, straightened a couple of bent wheels, cleaned and Armor-alled the wood and headrest, and am waiting to re-install the wheels, because I need a couple dozen 10/24 carriage bolts to replace all of the old stripped ones:
I tried to keep as much of the original patina and character as possible while removing the old crusty grease clumps.
I paid $13 for the creeper.
I added another Swingspout can to my collection :
I paid $15 for this 5qt. can.
And I got a couple of fan belt measuring sticks, along with a dozen or so new belts in a lot. I took apart one of the measuring sticks and cleaned it up. Here it is next to the "as bought" one:
These Gates tools have a rotating internal guide that shows the belt sizes for what you are measuring.
I paid $15 for both measuring tools and a dozen belts.
