Went to a small household auction today and got some good deals. Craftsman jointer in really nice shape on a stand of unknown orgin $5.00. S&K 1/2 inch socket set $12.50. Other misc. tools $2-5 each. Couldn't believe no one else was bidding on this stuff!

Wow, that stuff is mint. I have all the same vintage SK 1/2 drive stuff, but mine isn't near as purdy.

Does that set have any of the **/32" sockets in it? The sockets I have came without the case, got a 19/32 in there though.

I've got the same jointer, also paid $5 for it. Sad that good tools arent worth much anymore, most of the fellas here would rather spend more for new HF ****.

I go to an auction almost every week and honestly I've never seen a good socket set go so cheap before, days like this are few and VERY far between. In the last 3 years or so its become much harder to find a deal.I'm just glad I decided to get up and go lol.

The atlas metal shapers I have seen the legs curve more than these do, but i will have to do some more research. I will try to get more pics of the stand in the next week or two.

Those legs don't have the lower braces that my shaper has, but it's worth trying figure out if they are from another machine. They might be from an old cast iron parlor stove.
