That sounds a lot better.

That one may have been a mistake, but some ebay sellers do jack up the price to something ridiculous like that when they don't want to sell any, typically while waiting for new stock to arrive.

Another email from him says that's what he has done. It's an eBay problem to preserve watcher status etc till new stock arrives.
