So i'm getting to the stage of putting tin on a wood framed workshop in northern New Zealand. I'm wanting more than craft paper under the main shed roof as the sun here is scorching and creates an oven inside. Climate is pretty temperate so A/C is a luxury here.

It was suggested by a local friend to look into air-cell insulation. He used kingspan insulwhite aircell product that was imported from australia and thought it was the bees knees. I rang the kingspan agent and he recommends thier insulshed80 product for nz conditions. 8mm thick with silver lining.

Looks like what i need. not fussed on the r.25 factor. its the radiant heat that cooks the interior when using iron roofing. But this stuff is $$$! nz$450 au$421 us$324 (at current conversion rates) retail per roll. i need 6 for the 10x16m main room.

Question is, anyone used this stuff and was it worth it? Good or bad feedback on it? Or would you suggest an alternative that is available in AU or NZ?
much appreciated on your feedback.
