Autel MD802 with added features... what?

I halfway traded my COrnwell guy my CRP129 for an MD802 yesterday. I was searching around trying to download the update program (because screw reading the owner's manual! ) and stumbled across this:

An MD802 with DS708 software features bastardized into it. The TPMS and steering angle stuff sound pretty cool... anyone got one or played with one? I wouldn't buy another one from them, but seeing how anyone could swipe the software off the SD card anyway, I'm curious about offering to buy a copy of their software from them.

I just got mine updated this morning (let it update overnight, holy hell does that take a long time the first time!) and haven't played with it much. I did take it out and test the EPB open/close function on a Tiguan we have on the lot, and it worked slick for that... way easier than firing up the GDS and having to remember the codes to do it manually.

Will RFE1 install their software in to your MD802 and for what price ?

I inquired about having my MD802 updated and below is the email I received. I would like to find someone with a DS708 and have them send me the folder with the TPMS and SAS files because I might be able to modify them to work with the MD802.

Thank you for contacting us. A few questions: Is your MD802 registered and receiving updates? Is it purchased from a US supplier or eBay? The memory card - is it a 4GB or 8GB?



If you already have the ALL Systems, the only software that we could provide for you without affecting your subscription and free updates would be the TPMS and the SAS. The TPMS has very good coverage among the car makers - the SAS is only available for ASIAN. The TPMS/SAS can be coded to your MD802 without affecting your registration - free updates.



Our software engineer can write the code for you (all I need is the Serial number from the back), the cost is $100 I can give you step by step info on how to install it on your MD802. If interested, let me know.
