Is this tool of any value. Purchased at Princess Auto approx. $60 off retail. Appeared to be the mid model in their product lineup. I could return Scanner if a poor performer or poorly rated. I was just tired of borrowing my mechanic or buddies tester when something came up.

the higher end autels are very good. Does great generic scans, ideal for Check engine lights

I got a 30$ one, and it worked as it should. I read my codes, nodded my head, then put it away and realized that the only time the check engine light will be off in that truck is if the bulb burns out.

Noticed you were from BC. I made 2 trips with my 2010 5.3 Silverado LTZ down the Coquihalla Highway and at the bottom near Hope BC my engine light would come on. Both times it appears on the decent from the higher elevations was not allowing proper burning of fuel in the cylinders. The first time it was a horror not knowing what was wrong. The second time the guy remembers me at the service station from a couple of years before. Blew out the code and never had another code show on the truck since.
Are you having a similar experience due to elevations and fuel issues?

It's not bad. I have the 619 in my truck. I like that it graphs and has live data. I have a Snap On scanner for real work since it's hard to do much more that play swaptronics without a scope and bidirectional controls.
