DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from Auto Equipment Depot.com.

I bought a 2 post lift and a few other shop tools from them on Sept 19 and was told it take a week or two for the lift to come in on truck freight and the rest was coming regular ground shipping. I called on Oct 3 for a tracking number since nothing showed up yet and I didnt have a delivery date. I was told it was all coming on one truck now on the 14th. On the 14th no delivery so I call again and am told its shipping the 17th now. On the 17th I call for tracking information and they say they dont have it but its shipping. I tell them to cancel the order, I had enough. They tell me I have to talk to "Allan" and transfer me to his voicemail. I leave him a message and never get a call. I call again and email Allan on the 18, 19, and 20th trying to cancel the order and finally get him on the phone and he acts like he didnt know anything about it. He personally guarantees me my lift will ship out Monday or Tuesday and everything else will be by Oct 28 OR he will give 50% of my money back if it doesnt make it by then. I called Thursday and Friday and left messages AGAIN with no return call or any equipment. Allan is definitely your typical con artist who just drags you along.

I called and filed fraud charges to get my money back. Im so pissed I let this drag on this long and actually thought they were going to come through. Digging more online they are apparently having financial problems and have had their credit lines cut off. They didnt place my oder until Oct 20, the dayI tried to cancel my order. The picture of their building is photoshopped also. The fraud charges went through today and they actually called me for the first time in 6 weeks. They gave me tracking numbers for everything and me to keep my order. I told them to send me the refund the promised and they said they cant until I get the order. I said send me something in writing with the exact dollar amount they are refunding me if I accept the order and they wont. I told them I will not accept the shipment for full price after all this BS.

Sorry to hear about this hassle. I hope it works out in the end. What was it that made you choose them as a supplier? I don't know anything about the company, just curious.

It was a tossup between them and Best Buy Equipment, picked auto equipment because of free home delivery. Come to find out best buy will do the same. Just placed the same order with best buy equipment.

Being told it cant take 60 days to get my money back, luckily I used a credit card and not a debit card.

Just got a response from the credit card company last week. They credited $2125 or $3125 back to me in my favor. The other $1,000 went to Auto Equipment Depot for shipping and 20% restocking fee on a order I cancelled BEFORE they shipped and refused delivery of. 2 items got dropped off by fedex over a week after I cancelled the order and disputed the charges. I called fedex and had them come pick up the items, I never signed for them or even looked what they were. Auto equipment depot summited the tracking number showing they were dropped off to the credit card company. They also stated I didnt pick the lift up because I didnt have a way to unload it. So now I had to fill another dispute, no way in hell am I going to pay $1,000 to those lying theives for nothing.

I actually re-ordered everything though Best Buy Auto Equipment (Dannmar recommended them) and had a tracking number the next day for part of my order and less than 5 days later for the rest of my order.

First time poster, but have lurked around for years.

I ran into an issue as well with autoequipmentdepot.com when I tried to order a rolling jack for my 4 post lift.

Placed order on 11/28. Based on what I read on the website, I assumed I could pick up local (warehouse located 20 minutes from home) at no charge.

On 11/29, I spoke to Rudy in sales and he said this product would ship directly from manufacture and there would be a freight charge. When I asked what that charge would be, I was told $350. I explained to Rudy that I thought that the freight charge was excessive for a $522 item. I asked to cancel the order. Rudy was very accommodating and stated he understood the reasoning and that he would send me a link where I could cancel the order. Later that day, I followed the instructions on the link and cancelled the order in writing.
During the next several days I checked my credit card and their website looking for the refund. On 12/6 I left a voice mail message for their customer support group.
Later that week on 12/8, I checked to see if my credit card was issued a refund. When I saw that no refund was processed, I called their customer service department. I spoke to Tanaya. She stated she could see why I was cancelling the order and could see why the website was misleading when it came to shipment. She stated if they waived the freight charges, would I still want the product. I stated that I would still want the product. She stated they would go ahead and process the order and Autoequipmentdepot would pick up the freight charges. She stated the product would ship the following week. Once shipped I would receive an email with tracking information

During the following week, I checked their website several times to see if the status of the order changed from “Processing” and it did not.

On 12/22, I called and spoke to Tanaya again. She stated she did not know why the product did not ship and she would need to talk to her manager (Alan?). She stated she would try to call by the end of the day but most likely she would call the next day on the 23rd. I never received a call back.

On 12/28, I left a message for someone to call me back with an update. I never received a call back.

On 1/3 I called and spoke to Tanaya. She stated that they are backlogged with orders from the holiday season. She thought they would have all orders out the door by the end of the week. She stated she would send an email by the end of the day on Friday. I never received any notification.

On 1/11 or 1/12 (I was away from my office), I called and was told Tanaya was dealing with another customer at the moment. I spoke to a gentleman who placed me on a brief hold while he worked with Tanaya. He came back and stated she was working on my issue and that she would call me back. I informed him that I needed an update ASAP since my 60 window of opportunity to dispute the charge (with Credit card Company) was coming to a close. He stated not to worry she would call me by the end of the day. She never contacted me.

On 1/12 I filed a dispute with my Chase credit card

On 1/16, Chase called to follow up with dispute. They needed some additional information. I provided history. They stated they had enough info and that they would provide a temporary refund of $522. I would also be receiving a letter, via mail stating this and it should be held for my records. Autoequipmentdepot now has 2 billing cycles to dispute my dispute. Unless they send me jack, the dispute will be permanent in my favor.

On 1/27/17 I logged into autoequipmentdepot.com website. Screenshot shows a change. The order now reads “On Hold”

On 3/11/17, I received another letter from credit card company indicating that the case is now closed and the refund would remain on my account.

On 3/14/17, out of curiosity I tried to log into my account on autoequipmentdepot. They blocked me from their site.

Oh well, after the lack of customer service and follow through, I would never order anything from them. I will also make sure that whenever I read a post that is looking for feedback on this company, I will post my review. I cannot believe an organization can stay in business with such horrible customer car (or lack thereof)!

The owner of this company is a thief. I ordered a very large amount of equipment and after I paid, the owner ignored me. He won't answer emails or phone calls. Now the website has been "suspended" I think that this spineless thief is finally going out of business

I hope they went out of business, they were very dishonest and shady. In the end after 3 months and countless hours on the phone with the credit card company I was able to get all my money refunded back.

CONSUMER ALERT: Auto Equipment Depot ripped off a lot of people. So they closed down and are reopening under a new name: titan-ase.com. Don't trust them!
