Auto Kit Wrenches

Got these at a flea market for $1 for the whole set. They look cool and I like the box end and two different sizes per wrench. Anyone know anything about them? I have no use for them so if you are interested in purchasing send me a PM. Any info is appreciated!!

I believe they were made from the 30s to 40s by indestro.

I have some of those-they are nice wrenches. I think the hole in the middle was for some kind of screw or bolt to hold them together when not in use.

Sorry about that. It's a free website and I only use it to post pictures. I do not chosse the ads or anything like that. I get absolutely NO money or profit from that site. Photobucket doesn't work for me for some reason. Everytime I post pictures, they never come up or are not the right format it says. If you do not want to click on to see the pictures, no problem.

That's a nice set; they are usually in much worse shape.

I have a full set of those in may daily driver car as a "just in case" set, along with just a few other basics. I like the Auto wrench sets as they do stay together with a #10 screw and wing nut, as the box and open ends are one size incrementally stepped, you can always have a 1/2 open and box for instance at any given time without a second set.

Not a lot of collector demand on these at this point, so $1-2 each, tops. One set sold for silly money on Eprey, but who knows what the story behind that was...
