It plugs into a battery booster box on one end; the other goes to the DLC.
With the car battery disconnected, the power from booster box via the ezred keeps the pcm memory alive.

I have that same memory saver. It is very well made.

BTW, the days of the 9v battery memory saver plugged into the cigar lighter are on gone.

The cig lighter memory savers have always sucked. A lot of cars don't power the cig lighter without the key being in "run".

I use a jumper with alligator clips on each end and a 2 amp fuse inline connected between the neg terminal and the batt cable. It keeps the memory in the PCM/radio but if there is a short or anything else is turned on accidentally the fuse blows.
