I have been around the site for a while checking things out, made a few posts here and there. This is a great place for information. Well I decided to post this, my build on revamping my auto shelter that was pretty much trashed by three days of 60 mile an hour plus winds last spring. I utilized steel roofing panels to enclose the frame of the 10 X 20 auto shelter. I still have a few things to finish on it, but this thing is SOLID!!! Here are a few pics of the process.

I have seen some of these done but never really finished off, I used pole barn trim to cover the corners and a steel ridge cap for the roof. This was my first attempt to work with steel roofing, it was a learning experience. :dunno:

It is on a doubled up 2 x 4 base except for the front, but when all the panels were secured to the 1 3/8 pipe frame it just became pretty sturdy, plus I guess the weight of the material helps also. The frame is also secured with 30 inch anchors plus 18 inch long nails through the 2 x 4 base into the ground.
