Auto tapping device.

Used a tapmatic brand a lot. They work great. You can set the clutch real light, and increase as needed. You can also go into and out of a hole multiple times. The way it works it will pick up the threads. It will feel weird the first few times you use it till you figure out how the self reversing function works. You can also set a depth stop and do multiple holes to the same depth. 6-32 was as small as I could go, the 4-40 I tried would break off, so I had to hand tap those. We also had a bigger one that could do up to 1/2-13.

I need one for 3mm. I will be drilling into /tapping plastic. Trying to to reduce the hand / drill tap work.

3mm in plastic will be fine. My 4-40 was in 4140 prehard

works very well

mine only works with 10 mm
