auto xray6000 compared to ax7000

is there anyone out there that has the ax7000? i have the ax6000 works fine but i want the 7000 which has more capabilities until i googled the ax7000 reviews and saw alot of negative feedback on it such as the tool not working off the car battery, and the screen going blank in the middle of the scan and having to restart the tool. im also suspicious about the ax7000 being sold from various vendors for around $100 less than the ax6000.thnx in advance for any responses.

I have the 7000 I've had it for a few months now and I haven't had any of those problems. I have the abs upgrade and the Toyota upgrade sd kits. According to spx they are going to be coming out with a software update to bring all the years up to 09 and the abs up to 08. Anyway if you have any more questions let me know.

Well I haven't got to mess with much other then Fords but I'm getting hi speed fan, low speed fan, all on except injectors, all the koer, koeo stuff it will do some other tests too but I'm on vacation right now and don't have it in fron of me. The only thing that I'm realy not happy about with it is spx customer service had told me that the Nissan and Honda upgrades would be out soon but now they aren't on the website.

i have fords too and that sounds good enough, im working on selling my 6000 right now, thnx for the info dime..

Yeah to me it seemes to do the most for anything near it's price range.
