In freezing condition how much moisture do you think is in the air ?
But the water in the system will still freeze and crack the piping I would think.
That's why we use humidifiers in the winter months.This. The air cannot support much moisture when its that cold.
What water? If the air temp is below freezing it will not condense on the cooling coils in the humidifier. It can't remove moisture from 32F air, it simply can not work. You will not have to worry about condensate freezing because there will not be any.But the water in the system will still freeze and crack the piping I would think.
