I have a problem the I believe is the circuit/logic board. It is an Odyssey 1000, mod 7030 automatic door opener, made by Overhead Door. While searching for a replacement board I see lots of different models but none with this specific name. Is there a cross reference listing somewhere that I can find the board I need. It is $200 from the dealer and they are awaiting some to come in. It looks maybe cheaper on line

2 red lights stay on continually and it will not accept any programming sequence. The unit has power to the motor as well as the sensors at base of door. neither the remote control or control mounted on the wall work. The light does come on when switched from thee wall mounted control. According to the tech on the phone it is a failed circuit / logic board

new unit, return / exchange.

otherwise I'd try re-soldering the pins on the dip switches. Look into what a 'cold joint' looks like, get a test meter and probe around for continuity faults and re-solder where applicable.

There isn't a lot beyond that which is worth the time or complexity to deal with.

It is 8 yrs old, no return I am sure. 120 mile out of the city so I will figure it out myself. I see 2 bolts in the front by the overhead lights that I have removed but the cover/box isn't dropping. The back has 2 pivot points to appear to be hinges for the box to pivot on as it drops. Owners manual does not cover disassembly for repair. YouTube here I go

Possibly I didn't say that I am trying to get it dismantled to determine what part number the board is. I haven't purchased anything cause I cant get it apart to determine the board number

If you get the PCB out, please post good quality picturesof front and back.
It can probably be repaired for less the $10 in new parts.
I would gladly try free of charge , live i Sweden.
