Hey curious if anyone has info or used any of the automatic scrubbers to clean there floor??

Our problem is we rebuild stuff in our 6000sqft shop with half epoxy floor & half non epoxy & the dust from the broom us just not going to work. So is there any advice on what I should be looking at as far as some sort of an auto scrubber?? Used--new or brand style??

Thanks

They are great!

If you go used, check the batteries as they are expensive. Your local forklift service company may have a bead on used scrubbers.

We used to use an ADVANCE floor scrubber in Our hanger with white epoxy floors. It had a tank for a soap/water solution which it put down, a couple of scrubbing brushes that rotated and a squeegee suction blade at the back which picked up the dirty water. It plugged into the wall to recharge. That was in 1985. I'm sure they have advanced in the years since. It did a very good job and never had any mechanical issues that I know of. Hope this helps.

Hi from the UK. We are a UK based floor scrubber supplier so I thought I would confirm that automatic scrubber driers are ideal for autoshop floors. If you visit our website there is lots of advice about choosing the right one.

LegacyIndustrial is right batteries can be expensive so choose wisely. Some of our models can be plugged into a mains outlet so that's a way round it but these are the smaller models so may not be up to the task.

6000sqft is a good size area - the important issue is how much of it you want to clean in one shot and how much time can you spare doing it?

Can't supply the US  but if you want any advice very happy to help.

We are all petrol heads with a whole load of old, new and interesting vehicles so good to meet you all.
