Automatic garage door opener

Ok, I have installed these two or three times with no issues. Yesterday I h something fall off the storage rack in the corner and lightl bumped the “magic eye”, knocking it out of alignment. Havi a hell of a time readjusting so as the door states down. Have tried measuring height from floor to the eye, measuring from inside of wall to check for center. Darn thing still no workee. Any ideas would be appreciated

Should have a light on it that will "light" when it's aligned correctly.

Does your door have those metal reinforcement pieces that keep the door from sagging in the middle when it’s raised? The one on the bottom panel on mine was just tall enough to barely trip the eye. You could see the light barely flicker as it went past the eye. I had to space the eye out a little to keep it from happening.

Thanks guys…light was barely flickering on one side. Once I got a solid, bright beam all was well
