I had $400 in primer, base, and clear. Pint of base, quarts of primer and clear, and appropriate reducer and hardeners.
I'm very pleased with how it turned out. If I do something like this again, my confidence will be at an entirely different level due to mistakes, learning from them, etc.
You were wearing me out man but I'm delighted that it came out as well as it did. Of the 100 people I try to help maybe 10% actually listen to what I tell them to do as you did. I always wonder way people ask other people for advice and yet they never take it. The absolute worse are those that want to sandblast with a 2HP compressor. Yes, you can sandblast with that but only for about 20 seconds. Apparently most people, in the immortal words of Jack Nicholson, "CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH."1.2MM.
