So Walmart started selling a version of this as the Hypertough HT200 for $50. I picked one up and am very impressed. I also have a couple of generic scanners, generic Bluetooth scanners, Rosstech, iCarsoft and an Autel MD802.
I haven’t compared line by line but seems amazingly impressive for the price. Biggest con is the mobile software, it’s really clunky and I had to download the main app and a Mercedes specific app. And it takes a ton of space on my phone.
I have one of those as well. It's probably the best bargain for someone that needs it for a single make of vehicle and currently has no scan tool. An extra make is $20+ for a single year subscription, so it kinda makes sense to just purchase another HT200 for $50 if you're keeping a car for a few years. When I first got it, I was both impressed and disappointed. I was impressed by the level of information that was accessible with it, but disappointed with how slow and buggy it was. Surprisingly enough, autel updated the app a short time later and it made a massive difference. After the update, I was no longer getting a ton of freeze-ups and accessing everything was significantly faster.
