As many of the "real' software packages are 4 and 5 digit costs, PLUS hardware, PLUS yearly/quarterly fees....you might be better served to use Quickbooks, itself.

Your money is made wrenching, not doing paper work, or learning some new app or software to "help" you customer.

Once you are in the black, you can budget for a new "system" or add it to your 3 year plan.

I have used BitBeater.. Its more for the sales than the service side, but its not bad for $350 a year... It has its flaws... But like i said... its worth a look.

We will be moving away from it... But that's because of expanding business and the need for a more corporate environment... BitBeater can be a pain when you have multiple computers accessing it at once.

Actually, i've been working in it for a month so far. I am a small shop owner with only 3 mechanics and it's good for me. What i like most is that it is web based, i don't need to install anything on my computer and my shop can be found in nationwide cat. Prevously, I've been using shop boss pro basic...

Well guys, it’s a week I am working in AutoRepair Cloud and I want to share some exp with you. First of all, the software is ideal for small shops like mine. There are all necessary features like invoice creation, work order management, customer management etc. What missing is parts order management, but support team says that it should be released soon. My shop is listed in the nationwide ecat, customers are finding it via mobile app. Actually, the mobile app for customers is a really good idea. I’m sending works to be done for approval via app, chatting with my customers, sending them photos. So, AutoRepair cloud made a good first impression on me. Will see how it will change later…

Good to know. I have been looking for a new shop management program to replace the one currently in use for us. I have tried Advances' Moto Shop and found it too user un-friendly, also my customers hated the invoice layout.
I just signed up for a 3mo trial, I'll keep you posted on my thoughts after I use it for a couple of weeks.
