Autostacker lift

Saw an ad last nite on Velocity for a Autostaker lift from Bendpak. It's a scissors type with the scissors on the upper car deck. Nice idea. For car storage, their web site shows removable panels for working on your car.

I have my eye on that as well. Too bad it's 5k and weighs 3200 lbs. I want it so my daily driver can be parked under my 89 Mustang. Looking to find a 4post that's a little shorter than normal.

I have seen them at SEMA, they are very nice but really too expensive.
Just get a 4 post lift

I agree with the folks above. It's overpriced. And unlike a 4 post, the way Autostacker is designed, it always has rails that are in your way on the floor.

On a 4 post, with the carriage up, the floor is unobstructed, except for the posts.

Opinions vary..

Well I would much prefer the 4 post lift. More versatile.

Bump to the top. I am researching lifts for my small double car garage and the Autostacker is the smallest footprint. Just looking to see if anyone has one in their residence.
