What's up folks? I'm buried under four or five feet of snow up here in Michigan (this **** is nuts... I grew up in California, Iowa, and Tennessee, Michigan is unlike anywhere else).
Can't believe I've never heard of this website before. I just got out of the USAF in December, I was an aircraft mechanic (electrician specifically
). I just got hired on to be an apprentice Audi tech at the dealership here through Audi's vets to techs program. This seems to be the closest place to a forum dedicated to mechanics that I've been able to find (besides flat rate tech, but that board seems a little on the... odd side for my tastes). I'm excited to get started at work, even more excited that I never have to give my old lady an excuse to buy tools ever again
Beyond tools and tinkering and breaking things just so I can fix them I've been doing music production with Reason and Ableton Live for about 13 years now, give or take a few months. Been working on slowly, slowly, slowly redoing the kitchen cabinets and doors and keeping up with all the other stuff that tends to happen when one lives in a pre-war home in the boonies
