Anyone notice AVE new video and the mini bosch chainsaw he was using? Is there really a market for such a thing for bosch to make such a tool? Does anyone actually have one and use it?

IMHO, this is one of THE WORST TOOLS I have seen in a long time.

Call me a "Safety Sally" but there are no guards and the Bosch videos show people operating it on a branch, with the open, spinning chain inches from the operators hand.

From my research, this tool is NOT sold in the US ! It would make a lot of lawyers VERY RICH !

If you want a GOOD, easy to use, cordless general purpose (for non-metallic material, including pruning) saw, get a folding Silky or Gyokucho Japanese pull saw.

i agree. just would never think a big name like bosch would put the time and effort in such a thing. more of a thing you would see a cheap Chinese company make as a gimmick type tool you see on tv a 4am lol

I carry my Bosch 12V single hand reciprocating saw with me when I do trail clean up in our national forest. I've tackled some surprisingly big limbs and small logs with it when it was my only option.

When I saw the thread title I was intrigued but after seeing the first test cut in the opening moments of the video I can't say I think it would be something that would be better than the tools I already have.

I turned it off when the censor talk started. My eight and nine year olds were within earshot.

I use my reciprocating saw for the samething.

I'm guessing bosch makes replacement chains for that saw?

He is a Canadian with a fake American y,all accent.

Time and place for everything, but if Snap-on Junkie and Ave would dial it down a bit, they might get more viewers

I know for a fact that I can't be the only one who immediately thought of a chainsaw bayonet just for a bit of fun.

When he started cursing I shut him off, Don't need to listen to his ****.
If he can't post with out cursing then he need not to be online.

Harden up, man. They're just words, and he can use them all he wants.

Don't like it? Find something else to watch; but don't pass judgment, because all it does is remind people of that one family member that they can't take anywhere.

You see, despite their linguistic high horse, they're incredibly rude, and nobody likes hanging around them.

If you can't handle a few choice words, I got news for you:

You're the one that need not be on-line. Indeed, you shouldn't even be out of the house.

I disagree, while sometimes it seems like he's doing it just to be funny, I'd rather listen to someone more down to earth like him than Real Tool Reviews and his robotic presentation. I'm not knocking Real Tool Reviews, because I really like how he actually demonstrates the tool in action and how precise his testing is (although I could do without the first 5 min of every video he does explaining how to install a battery and other things that every 3rd grader should know how to do).

I think it's pretty ridiculous to say "If you curse than you shouldn't be online"... by that logic every movie should be rated PG and all violence, ***, and Language be censored. If it really offends you to hear curse words, don't watch the video.

Don't ever join the service... all we do is curse

That last sentence is absolutely the truth.

I've got a family member that is crazy rude during movies and conversation; especially when out on the town. She has to let everyone know that she just heard a word she's pretending not to like for attention. Screw that.

Here's the funny part: Her father was in the military, and she had the gall one day to tell me that he never cursed in service...

What an idiot. Usually, they're just out to become the center of attention. The people that really care just shut up and find something else to do, and do their best not to destroy a fun evening in the process.

I can tell that the post to which I responded in that regard was indeed written by a person that I wouldn't ever want to sit in a restaurant with.

I'd rather spend time with someone that has an entirely four-letter vocabulary than someone who has to let everyone know that they want to be the most important person in the room...

Don't ask.
I like that idea. Could be better than a sawzall in some situations. I didn't see any metal cutting options.
Have to agree with the others, I didn't get much out of that video.

I didn't get past him pronouncing Bosch as Borsch. :D As annoying as those people who say soder instead of solder.

Yeah, but he does it intentionally for every brand. Some are pretty funny.

I'd post them here, but people might cry about the language for some of them.

A little off the topic, but I was wondering what your user name alludes to. :p

I use to watch Ave until he advocated for the cheap labour agenda. It's been at least a year and youtube still tries to push it on me. They obviously don't know me as well as they think.

Oh my, I didn't realise we had such delicate snow flakes on GJ. Lol. The internet is full of curse words and other offensive things. Maybe you're the one who need not be online. Lol.

I can honestly say I've never heard a grown man complain about cursing, besides my dad when I was a young boy. Lol

LOL. Swearings just words, get over it. Teach your kid not to use them when they are a kid. Ave is just a normal Canadian conversation.

I spotted that as well. Anyone with a screen name that is to be interpreted as "****-head" has no business complaining about someone else's language.

I would have thought the post a joke, but it clearly wasn't.

Same. I figured I couldn't be the only one who said "O.K, that's enough..."
