Tell me about this:

It does work, I've used it a time or two but it's really just taking up space in my (overcrowded and messy) garage. Is it worth anything?

The short answer is it's worth something to somebody somewhere. Why don't you put it on ebay and see if it sells.

Actually, if I were selling that I'd clean it up, prime it with Rustoleum Rusty Metal primer and shoot a nice shiny topcoat on it--hugger orange or red or green... any attractive color, and then put it on ebay. I bet somebody would pay top dollar for it.

Got several of these. Pretty useful around the farm, and surprisingly powerful. The lower lifting point is especially handy. Only bad part with them is that you about have to set them on a board, or the handle will hit the ground before the stop engages the next tooth on the ram.
Paid anywhere from $1 to $15 for mine, but seen them sell up toward the $50 mark. Yours is the earliest version. Later ones had a wire rod to pull the catch back when lowering. Latest version has a detachable handle.
