Anyone hear of or use this stuff. It's made my Norton. It's basically grinding discs w/ holes so you can see what you're doing. The discs come in scotch-brite material, AlOxide, Zirconia Alumina, Ceramic Alumina.

It seems interesting, and I was gonna put together an order to MSC for a few things anyways. Has anyone used the stuff? Worth checking out or should I just stick w/ standard stuff?

Here's the link, or if it doesn't work, just search AVOS on the MSC website:

Thanks,
Adam

You would need to use the special Avos backing pad/disk with these. Also unless you remove your guard ( and SHAME on you if you do) I don't "see" how your going to "see" through it:)

We get those at work. They're ok, but I wouldn't want to be the only style grinding/cutting disc I have. It is possible to catch an edge with them and have them come apart.

Even with the guard in place more than half the disc is exposed. None of mine at home or at work have guards in place. I'm also on the safety committee.
