Awaiting Approval?

I'm a noob here (not new to forums though). I recently posted a thread in general tools about some questions on a Baldor grinder I have. My thread has a banner at the top which says "Awaiting approval before being posted publicly". I assume this is a result of my low post count and being a new member. But I was a little confused when I don't even see the thread show up in my own content area (like it may be deleted or something). Have I done something wrong, or am I misunderstanding what I should be doing to post a thread?

Thanks.

You can click on your username and, from there, find your postings.

Your thread is here...

This is done to keep spammers at bay, but if you click your profile, you can find your post, even in it's "awaiting approval" status.

If you are a new member and the programming sees things like links or pictures, it will send it in for approval by the Mods or Admin. It may get approved in minutes or a day or two, depending on who is online or runs through the Approval List.
