I haven't seen Corn Huskers in 10 years. That just may be because of the changes in my neighborhood in the last 10 years, though.
I just get the $1.00 a bottle stuff at Dollar General.
Rub it in, wash it off, and rub in a second coat.

Just dip your hands in a bucket of gasoline. That stuff works wonders. Just don't smoke afterwards.

Fedwrench mentioned Zep Cherry Bomb in his post above.... does anyone know where to buy that online? I used it a few times and I thought it was great. I'd love to get some for home, but I can't find anyplace that carries it.

Hey guys, Thanks for all the hand soap recommendations, but I need a recommendation on a small wall mount soap dispenser. I have a sink in my garage and I have a regular dispenser thats mounted on the rim. The problem I have is that the opening in the dispenser's spout is to small to let the thicker gojo type soap ease on out. So now I'm looking for something that will mount on the wall and will except thicker soaps better. I'm not looking for anything to large (gallon)...or to industrial. Thanks.

I have a dual basin laundry sink in the shop. The legs were so flimsy I threw them away and built a 2x4 frame for it. Anyhow, I use one side of the sink to wash in and the other side is where bottles of tire cleaner, hand cleaner, and other soaps and detergents sit that I use in the shop. 1 gal of Fast Orange, works for me, lasts forever, but you gotta stir or shake it occasionally. Just get you a large pump bottle of hand cleaner and set it next to the sink, it is a shop, a garage, not the kitchen..................

I just get the hand cleaner at Dollar General. I think it's like $2.00 or so. One container lasts me about a month and it cleans my hands great.

Franz? I think it was you who asked if the No Crack was greasy.Yes it is going on but it softens up after a couple minutes and you can't tell it's there.Another thing about dry rough hands is hydration.You need to drink water,even in the winter a lot of people don't drink as much water as summer and the skin will suffer from dehydration.I actually learned a lot about skin care of this type from a female friend who is a Dr. of Pharmacy.

"Invisible Glove" - Google it, you can get it through a number of sources - the stuff is simply incredible - put it on, get as dirty/greasy/oily as you want - wash your hands clean with soap and water! Fingernails, cracks, crevases all clean up with ease, and this stuff is easy on your hands, too!

For dry/rough skin, by far the best stuff I've found is at http://www.badgerbalm.com/c-2-balms.aspx

It's the healing balm. I use it on my feet, too. 11 hours a day in boots dries my feet and cracks them, this is the only stuff that works. I HATE the smell of lotion, it makes me gag. This stuff is greasy for a few minutes, but soaks in.

We have the kresto stoko cleaner at work, it does a good job.

I have used Kresto Hand Cleaner also. It is an awesome cleaner and does not dry out your hands. I will never use anything else. I bought it online at www.krestohandcleaner.com

The half gallon pump has lasted me forever.

i recently changed employers, we use the aramark hand cleaner. it is the same as snap on's nito gold and is made by pro soy. it's by far better than any other hand cleaner i have used.

Anyone else use Wechem Tuff Towels?
I was doing some work on my neighbor's van to help sell it, and he brought me these Tuff Towels in a large pop-up baby wipe container. He got them from the local power company where he is a lineman. They work wonderfully, and my favorite part was that I didn't even have to get up and go wash my hands, I could just clean them up out in the driveway. This was perfect since I was changing the rear brake shoes. They are great for cleaning parts, too. They also contain aloe vera, glycerin, vitamin E, jojoba, and wheat germ for your skin.

Check your local independent pharmacy for corn huskers. Or see if they can order it for you if they don't have it in stock.

That ZEP had cleaner is great. We usually use Lava bar soap because it is so damn cheap, lasts a LONG time and works pretty damn well.

Discovered this by accident in the kitchen. Greasy hands, so a shot of this and scrubbed my hands with her scrubbing sponge. Beats anything I ever used as a hand cleaner. After enduring an *** chewing for doing this in the kitchen, I got my own bottle and scrubber for the mud sink. Smells good, too.

one better cheap Sauve shampoo dawn can dry out your hands too much I know this from washing bicycles with dawn it cut grease great too great it strips you natural oils too if used daily

I agree 100% on the use of Dawn hand dishwashing soap (Ajax works great also) but the "foaming" dispenser version of the product (I think) is just a way to get the consumer to pay more money for...watered-down Dawn. I just use the stuff full-strength, works as good as any hand cleaner I have ever tried.

I was begining to think that I was the only one who still used Lava. I like the Kresto also. I'm going to ask my Snap-On guy and try some of thiers and the ZEP after that. Anything is better than running out completely. Man that chaps my as(uhm...bottom).

Fast orange works for me and is cheap. Other than tar, it removes pretty much everything.

Always used Swarfega for hand cleaning, but if theres none of that around some dish washing liquid(fairy) and then some laundry detergent powder onto it to get the "gritty" texture, works for me
