Found this on the roof at automotive plant.

Figured it was worth sharing. I was sure geeked over it. Really wanted to take it home with me.

Actually, they're upside down. Those are really the frames made to set the keel of a battleship.

I have a couple stands for my light work.

Stands like that are actually super common at auto stamping plants (rivets and all).

They are used to set stamping dies on when they come out of the presses for cleaning or polishing or whatever else needs doing on them.

They were probably built in the 30s or 40s, and never replaced because there was never a need to replace them.
