Had an awesome weekend at the flea. Got some vintage goods at one of my favorite Philadelphia spots.

Got a Vintage BlackHawk ratchet 3/8 [34945] made in USA. Paid $1

A vintage craftsman 43784 ratchet 3/8 USA Patent pending. Looks to be from the 1950s. Was completely frozen but was able to fix it with some good old acetone at ATF. Paid $3

Got a husky 22800 3/8 ratchet [USA]. Vintage in great shape after a good cleaning for $1

Small craftsman (USA) prybar or something for $1

My favorite piece from last weekend was a diamalloy tools 8 inch adjustable wrench made by diamond caulk horseshoe co. [USA] From the 1930s in good working order paid $3

And a armstrong [USA]11-927 12 inch ratchet extension for $3 in great shape!

I will post pics of all tomorrow when I get to work. I downloaded tapatalk so it was easier for pics. Overall I think I did great!

I'm afraid I buy TOO MANY tools at the local flea market. I've been AMAZED at some of the stuff I've managed to snag for pennies on the dollar.

Having said that, I don't have many other vices-only tools and other weird stuff at the flea market. Bought a clarinet the other day for $5. Don't need it, but for $5-why not?? My daughter might decide to take it up one day.

Love me some flea market.

Right you are Beerman! Nothing better than a flea market. I have a few "honey holes" here in Philadelphia and besides tools i also buy taxidermy (i restore and resell taxidermy as a hobby). But I'm guilty of buying good USA ratchets constantly. Cant turn down a s-k, snap on, mac, indestro, etc for a couple bucks. Right now I'm on my adjustable wrench kick. Wanna make my own "mutt" set

Yes I actually go to both a lot! Jakes (on rt 100)been lacking lately in my opinion. QMart has a cool vendor outside he has a heavy accent and sells stuff for basically whatever you want to give him and theres another guy who sells very nice toolboxes for cheap. All vintage in good shape... Perkiomenville Auction was a honeyhole for me but i never have off mondays anymore. Do you go into the city at all? I can give you a few good spots there...
