2 questions,
1) filling gap between driveway and garage floor. Need it to be tough enough to last a little while in the brutal Tucson sun.

2) tuck point gap in block wall. Let the Black Widow and Scorpion den elsewhere.
Has to be paintable. Morter? Anxious about cracking.

Hopefully some of you have proven experience.

Thanks 👍

I am in Phoenix. I used this on my wall joints. I'll probably be using it on the central expansion joint in my garage too, unless someone suggests something better.

I would use the Sika self leveling sealant on the expansion joint after cleaning out enough of the material to get their 3/4" backer rod in to the correct depth. Clean the concrete with a wire brush, vacuum up the dust. Seal the ends so it doesn't run out, fill.

For the vertical joint I would use any good polyurethane caulk. QSI Quad, Solar seal 900, etc.

Thanks! I used it in WA. (Tacoma ish) and never had an issue. Was wondering if it could handle the heat/sun. Looks like my chances are good.
